2-men accused of weapons violations were arraigned Tuesday in a santa cruz county courtroom. 24-year-old alex Richard valdez and 26-year-old Joshua aaron Robertson were arrested this past Friday morning on ocean street. both men were wanted in fresno for outstanding warrants, and santa cruz police officers allegedly found a loaded gun in the suspects’ car. valdez and Robertson both entered pleas of not guilty to being felons in possession of a firearm. They are due back in court for a preliminary hearing july 23rd.
