(12:43)SANTA CRUZ- The Watsonville woman accused of the hit and run death of a bicyclist entered a plea on Friday. 29 year old Violeta Cervantes pled not guilty for the vehicular death of 34 year Scott Brunton of Santa Cruz during an accident on Freedom Boulevard on the 10th of December. Cervantes is charged with four felonies: hit-and-run causing injury or death; gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated; driving under the influence causing injury; and a probation violation. She is due back in court on January 12th.
