A known Norteno member has been sentenced for his part in the December 2015 killing of a teenager. 26 year-old Tai Agoun Cruz pleaded guilty to the voluntary manslaughter of 18 year-old Paulino Guzman III. Cruz was sentenced to 35 years in prison. Guzman’s body, which was removed from the Salinas apartment where he was killed, has never been found. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Guzman’s body, is encouraged to contact the Salinas Police Department.
