No Drought 2/8/19 Ci 7a

In state news… while it’s no reason to waste water, Northern California and the Central Coast is free of drought. That’s according to the U.S. drought monitor

A series of wet  winter storms has boosted the state’s water supply and especially the sierra snowpack.

In the southwestern portion of the Golden State, officials say some counties remain in moderate drought… that includes all of San Diego county.

By the way, we’re expecting heavy rainfall from this weekend’s storm, so in case of flooding,  remember that you’re local fire station usually has sandbags available…  but it’s a good idea to call ahead first to double check.
