In state news… good news on the drought front.
While California saw a slow start to the rainy season… 85-percent of the golden state is now drought free. That’s mostly due to nearly continuous rainfall with a few breaks in between since the last week of November.
Lake Shasta, the state’s largest reservoir, is at 72 percent capacity and 119 percent of average for this time of year. And we are expecting more rain today and tonite… but so far looks like Saturday and Sunday will be mostly sunny.
