Governor Gavin Newsom has ordered certain businesses in 19 counties to dial back on their “re-opened” status….prior to this coming 3-day weekend. The triggers that caused him to require that the following counties close the indoor portions of certain businesses are that those 19 counties have: elevated disease transmission, increasing hospitalizations, and limited hospital capacity.
The 19 counties are: Contra Costa, Fresno, Glenn, Imperial, Kern, Kings, Los Angeles, Merced, Orange, Riverside, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Joaquin, Santa Barbara, Santa Clara, Solano, Stanislaus, Tulare, and Ventura.
The business that need to close their inside operations in those counties are: restaurants, wineries and tasting rooms, movie theaters, family entertainment centers, zoos and museums….and cardrooms. Bars in those 19 counties are asked to temporarily close completely.
