The Girls Scouts Of The Central Coast now plan to extend their cookie selling time until April 18th this year. That news came out as many counties are (and have) moved up to the red tier of the state’s Blueprint For A Safer Economy.....making it easier for people to find girl scouts selling boxes of their cookies at tables in each community, they way many people are used to finding girl scout cookies. For people who’d still rather not go out.....some troops have partnered with delivery service Grub Hub.....and there is also an on-line locator, so people can purchase the girl scout cookies of their choice. The organization as a whole has also started the Cookie Booth Buyout.

Although companies that spray pesticides must currently get permission from their local agricultural commissioner, and also notify workers in the spray area......Greenfield City Council members have voted 4-1 to ask the ag commissioner to publicize the spraying plans, once they approve them. That’s so that people can have the time to try and mitigate their exposure....by closing windows and doors, and staying indoors while the spraying is being done.
