A Brookdale man was arrested yesterday afternoon on suspicion of driving under the influence after crashing his car in a ditch. A C-H-P officer responded to a report of a 4-runner weaving in and out of lanes at around 1 p.m. The officer spotted the vehicle on Graham Hill Road near Mount Hermon Road, and followed the vehicle as it traveled near the shoulder of the road, before the driver realized he was being pulled over. The driver reportedly did not notice the C-H-P officer, got distracted then drove into a ditch, causing the car to overturn.
