THE MONEY COMES FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE. REPORTEDLY IMPORTED SPINACH SEEDS HAVE CARRIED THE FUNGUS TO VARIOUS KINDS OF LETTUCES AND STRAWBERRIES.

THE SALINAS CALIFORNIAN NEWSPAPER SAYS THAT DUE TO TRANSPORTATION ISSUES THIS MORNING, THEIR DELIVERY TRUCK WAS DELAYED A COUPLE OF HOURS. THEY SAY THAT PAPERS WILL BE DELIVERED TO HOMES “IN TOWN” BY 8 O’CLOCK THIS MORNING, AND BY 9 A.M. TO THOSE HOMES THEY DELIVER TO THAT ARE “OUT OF TOWN”.

2 men were injured in a late night shooting on San Juan Grade Road last night. The 11 p.m. incident occurred in the parking lot of a restaurant after a fight broke out. Both men, who suffered leg wounds, are expected to survive.
