Child Left at Chuck E. Cheese 7/25/12 12p AF

Salinas Police are investigation how a three-year-old child was left behind at a Chuck E. Cheese last night.     Employees of the Chuck E. Cheese called police as the business was closing to tell them that they had found little girl wandering around alone, crying.      With the help of the child, officers were able to deduce the neighborhood she lived in, and the little girl then pointed out the house.   When questioned about why the girl had been left, her parents told police that they though she has been with other family members.   When asked why, after a hour, they had not called the police, the parent gave an answer that was deemed unsatisfactory.    Police report that “their lack of concern was somewhat disturbing.”    Child Protective Services is following up with the family.
