A SCOTTS VALLEY MAN WAS ARRESTED IN SANTA BARBARA OVER THE WEEKEND. THAT AFTER 32 YEAR-OLD JEREMY DANIEL HARP HIT AND INJURED A 28 YEAR-OLD VENTURA MAN IN SANTA BARBARA, AFTER THAT MAN ALLEGEDLY TOUCHED HARP'S PERSONAL BELONGINGS. HARP FACES CHARGES OF ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON.

OFFICIALS SAY THE WORK, THAT WILL TAKE PLACE ON OCEAN STREET BETWEEN SOQUEL AND BROADWAY, SHOULD BE DONE BY 3 P.M. TRAFFIC ON OCEAN STREET IN THAT AREA IS EXPECTED TO BE LIMITED TO 1 LANE IN EACH DIRECTION. THOSE PEOPLE DRIVING SOUTHBOUND ON OCEAN STREET WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE A LEFT TURN ONTO BROADWAY.
