Most wanted arrests 02/27/12 5p.m. TDH

3-people that appeared on the santa cruz county most wanted list have been arrested.   28-year-old Nicholas beus was taken into custody on Saturday; he had been considered a “significant threat to public safety.”  20-year-old sierra Seljuk had been wanted by capitola and santa cruz police; she was arrested on Friday night.  A 3rd person, 23-year-old christen thomas was taken into custody on Saturday.  All suspects were booked into santa cruz county jail.

Man falls down cliff 02/27/12 4p.m. TDH

A Hollister man died Sunday, after tumbling down a cliffside east of Gilroy.  the victim and his friend were hiking in the bell station area, near the Pacheco pass highway when the accident occurred.   the victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of his family.

 

SALINAS FAST FOOD BLDG HIT BY CAR - 02/27/12 11:17 S.S.

A  SALINAS  BUILDING,   THAT  HOUSES  A  FAST  FOOD RESTAURANT,   WAS  HIT  BY  A  CAR  THIS  MORNING…  DURING  THE  MORNING  RUSH  HOUR.        THERE   WERE  NO  REPORTS  OF  EITHER  INJURIES,  OR  STRUCTURAL  DAMAGE  TO  THE   BUILDING,   AS   A  RESULT OF  THAT  ACCIDENT.

NONE INJ IN WVILLE DRIVE-BY - 02/27/12 10:49 S.S.

NO  ONE  WAS  INJURED  IN  THE  DRIVE-BY  SHOOTING  OF  A  WATSONVILLE  HOME  SATURDAY  NIGHT.      THE  9:45  P.M.  INCIDENT  OCCURRED  ON  THE  100  BLOCK  OF  MARIPOSA  AVENUE.       A  NUMBER  OF  PEOPLE   WERE  IN  THE  GARAGE  OF  THE  HOME  AT  THE  TIME.       THEY  REPORTED  THE  SHOOTING  YESTERDAY  (SUNDAY),   WHEN  THEY  DISCOVERED  THAT  A  ROUND  HAD  GONE  INTO  THE  GARAGE.

ANYONE  WITH  ANY  INFORMATION  ON THIS  SHOOTING  IS  ENCOURAGED  TO  CONTACT  THE  WATSONVILLE  POLICE  DEPARTMENT.

S C LEVEE STABBING - 02/27/12 10:43 S.S.

SANTA  CRUZ  POLICE OFFICERS  ARE  ASKING  FOR  THE  PUBLIC’S  ASSISTANCE  IN  IDENTIFYING  A  SUSPECT,   WHO  ROBBED  AND  STABBED  A  MAN  ON  THE  SAN  LORENZO  RIVER  LEVEE FRIDAY  NIGHT.       THE  9:20  P.M.  INCIDENT  REPORTEDLY  OCCURRED  NEAR  MIKE FOX  PARK IN  SANTA  CRUZ.       THE  STABBING  VICTIM,   WHO’S  SKATEBOARD  WAS  TAKEN  DURING  THE  INCIDENT,  WAS  TRANSPORTED  TO  DOMINICAN  HOSPITAL.
