SLV Water Outage 1.22.21 10a Ci

A 72-hour boil water notice is issued for the Hidden Glen neighborhood in Scotts Valley after the water will eventually be restored around 5-this evening.

Tuesday’s wind storm caused the water outage in Hidden Glen.

The roots of a large tree on hidden glen drive were wrapped around the largest water main serving the area and while the tree is still standing, the roots were pulled away… causing the main to break. About 60 customers are affected.

Because the S-L -V Water District had to de-pressurize the main… a boil water notice is necessary.  The district will be constantly testing the water after it’s restored.
