One person is under arrest and two others are still being sought after a 68-year old woman had her purse stolen from a Santa Cruz grocery store over the weekend. Police say the mother of the 17-year old San Jose suspect recognized her son on the Santa Cruz Police Department’s blog, and turned him over to authorities yesterday. Police meanwhile are still looking for two hispanic males in their late teens or early twenties. The suspect car has been described as a red small car with white lettering across the back that stated “indow tint”, like window but without the w. The crime occurred at the Safeway on Morrissey Boulevard when the woman was attacked by the three suspects as she was leaving the store.
