Marina city officials are working to shore up 2 programs designed to help local business owners and residents negatively impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. They’ve approved an extension of their Small Business Loan Program......and their Residential Loan Program. City officials have also made more small business loans available.

The 4,276 acre Creek Fire is now 65% contained. The wildfire, which is burning in southern California, was first reported late on December 23rd on Camp Pendleton. Although many people were evacuated, they have all been allowed to go home.

The 3,000 acre “Creek Fire” has prompted the Mandatory Evacuation of more than 7,000 residents of the DeLuz, and O’Neile Heights Housing areas....as well as the Wounded Warrior Battalion, and the Lake O’Neile Campground. The Wildfire broke out last night near the Fallbrook Naval Weapons Station on Camp Pendleton. CalFire, and U.S. forest Service firefighters are working alongside Camp Pendleton Firefighters, and as of 7:30 this morning they had 35 percent containment. Keep an eye out for updates....
