Alisal parents object to trustee

Some parents in the Alisal Union School District are objecting to the appointment of a state trustee to oversee the operations in the district.   Parents formed the community group several years ago, and say they have been working to vote out failing school board members, as well as encourage better test scores.   The state appointed a trustee earlier this year, after continued low-test-performance by students in the district.   Some parents, however, say the move is too little, too late, and say the financial cost is too high.
