4-teenagers were arrested in Watsonville on Saturday evening, after allegedly robbing 5 people in a parking garage. The juvenile victims were confronted in the garage on West Beach Street at 7:40 p.m. The 4-suspects demanded money, and stuck 1-victim in the face, before fleeing. 19-year-old Nicolas Rodriguez, 19-year-old Ulises Castillo, 18-year-old Epigmenlo Ramirez, and a 16-year-old suspect, were taken into custody nearby.

A teenager was injured in Soquel yesterday(sun), after crashing his dirt bike. The 15-year-old was riding on the 3-thousand block of mainsail court at 11 a.m., when he fell and hit his head on a column made from brick and concrete. He was taken to Dominican Hospital to be treated for a major head injury.

A local eatery has teamed to help raise money for Soquel High cheerleaders. A fundraiser is being held today(mon), at the Tony and Alba’s in Capitola, on 41st Avenue. Cheerleaders from Soquel High School will be on hand to take orders, wait on tables, and perform cheer-routines. 20-percent of food served from 5 to 9 p.m. will be donated to the team, to help buy new uniforms and send cheerleaders to camp.

A 24-year-old man who was on parole was arrested in King City early Saturday morning, after leading Monterey County Sheriff’s Deputies on a brief foot chase. A sheriff’s spokesman says Michael Benavides was taken into custody after deputies tried to pull him over on Meadowbrook Drive for a vehicle code violation. He fled on foot, and was tazed by deputies. While being arrested, Benavides allegedly kicked a deputy, and made death threats. He was found to be on parole, and was taken into custody.
