Officials at Gavilan Community College are set to hold a public meeting today(mon) to discuss expanding classroom space. The current campus is at capacity, however college officials need to increase that capacity to 500 full-time equivalent students, in order to meet requirements to start building a new, permanent campus. That campus is planned for Fairview Road at Airline Highway. The public comment meeting on expanding the interim-campus classrooms is scheduled to be held today, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Veterans Memorial Building located on West Street.
