$1.8 Million Grant – Restoration 02-05-21 08:22 S.S.
A 1.8 million dollar grant has been awarded to the Hind Foundation for the restoration of the 100 year-old Downie Museum and the Basilica Forecourt. They are part of the 22-acre Carmel Mission complex, which was founded in 1771, and has 11 historical structures, 5 museums, and the oldest house in California (that all need structural renovation and rehabilitation).
