Panetta and Eshoo Issue Statements 01-06-21 15:30 DC
Central Coast representatives Jimmy Panetta and Anna Eshoo have sent out tweets saying that they are safe.
This happening after President Trump's supporters breached the U.S. Capitol Wednesday afternoon as lawmakers count the Electoral College votes certifying President-elect Joe Biden's win.
Panetta has tweeted that he and his staff were safe and were following Capitol Police orders.
Eshoo, who covers parts of northern Santa Cruz County, said she and her staff were safe.
