Salinas authorities are looking for two people seen taking cash from an automated checker. On Sunday a shopper requested 3 hundred dollars cash back during a transaction at the Safeway on North Main Street, the shopper then forgot to take the dispensed monies and then the couple next in line took the cash without alerting anyone. Salinas police say that misappropriating found property is considered a crime, so anyone with information is asked to contact Salinas police.
