The California Highway Patrol Coastal Division has announced a Maximum Enforcement Period, also known as a Maximum Corridor Enforcement Operation starting Wednesday.
This means that every CHP officer available will be deployed to enforce traffic safety laws and respond to traffic incidents.
For the upcoming holiday season, motorists are encouraged to drive sober, or get pulled over.
