Scotts Valley police say they have arrested a carjacking suspect after there were several attempted burglaries and vehicle thefts in the northern part of Scotts Valley early Wednesday morning.
They later also received a report of a carjacking.
Shortly after the incident, a community member contacted police to tell them about a suspicious person around his vehicle that he left running to warm up.
When police arrived, they found the suspicious person, who matched the description of the carjacking suspect. Police said he was identified as the suspect and arrested.
