The State of California is examining the possibility of changing the names of public area. The state’s Natural Resources Secretary and the State Parks Director along with the Department of Transportation Director are going examine the names of public areas for racist origins. If public facilities are found to be named with possibly inappropriate or racist origins a renaming process will be implemented.
