2 parks have been closed in the portion of Monterey county where the highest number of cases of Covid-19 are. The parks that have been closed are Cutino and Monte Bella, and along with the high number of cases of the virus, reportedly several large un-authorized organized events have been held in those parks. Along with the closure, the basketball hoops have reportedly been removed from Monte Bella park. About 77 percent of the people in Seaside and Sand City (who had cases of covid-19) have recovered from so far.
