Along with thank-yous, cards, posters, paintings, letters of thanks (and in some cases people’s personal money)….a fund has been created to help raise money for the members of the Boulder Creek Volunteer Fire Department. The 44 volunteers have been battling the CZU Lightning Complex fires for more than 2 months. The folks at HeartMath LLC (which is owned by a Boulder Creek resident) started the Boulder Creek Fire Relief Fund with a 5,000 dollar donation, and she said the company will match any (and all) donations (up to 20,000 dollars).
