A family, who lost their home to the Carmel Fire, has finally gotten back the last of their 3 cats. Workers with the SPCA For Monterey County went in and got the 3 after firefighters spotted them, but one of the 3 had 2nd degree burns on all 4 feet, so he needed daily treatments for a while. 5 month-old “Bubs” was re-united with his family yesterday.
The agency is still caring for 40, of the 11-hundred pets they have sheltered since the fires started this summer.
