A Santa Cruz man was arrested after leading the CHP on a chase Monday morning. The chase began in Capitola after patrol units responded to reports of a reckless driver. The driver refused to pull over and fled the area. CHP officers pursued the vehicle and executed a PIT maneuver causing the fleeing driver to lose control of the car and come to a stop. The driver was then taken into custody.
