The California Department of Public Health has approved waivers for reopening elementary schools, up to sixth grade, across the state.
Of those 400 elementary schools, several in San Benito County made the list.
- Panoche
- Cieniga
- Jefferson
- Willow Grove
- Tres Pinos
Meanwhile, schools in Monterey and Santa Cruz counties remain under distance-learning education models.
Santa Cruz County will be allowed to reopen their schools as long as it remains under the “red” tier under the state’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy for at least two weeks.
