The Monterey County Health Department released new demographic information on the Corona virus.
Latinx make up 85-percent of all hospitalizations for covid 19, even tho Latinx are 61-percent of the total population in Monterey County.
White or non-Hispanic make up 11-percent of the hospitalizations in the county.
Numbers released this past Wednesday marked a grim milestone… the number of i-c-u patients soared to 17. That’s the highest number since the pandemic broke out. Only seven patients were in ICU on Monday.
