Seaside city council members voted unanimously last night to ban “safe and sane” fireworks being set off after 10 p-m. The urgency ordinance was created after a growing number of fireworks complaints. The safe and sane fireworks are currently only allowed to be sold and used now and July 5th . Aside from the new 10 p.m. restriction, there are talks of an outright ban on all fireworks in Seaside in the future.
