Starting next month, Santa Cruz metro will increase the capacity on their buses.
The previous capacity limit ranged from 5 to 8 passengers per bus, which meant some passengers were passed up.
Effective July 1st that capacity will range between 10 to 15 passengers per bus.
Face coverings and your bus fare continue to be mandatory in order to ride the Santa Cruz Metro, and “customers are also encouraged not to talk while riding the bus” as a precaution in the social distancing era.
