Governor Gavin Newsome held a Monday news conference to urge Californians to continue wearing face coverings. During the address it was reported there are 46,735 new cases in the state in the past 14 days, with 3,574 people hospitalized with confirmed cases of COVID-19 in California on Saturday. The Governor is urging the public wear face masks when in the proximity of others even outside.
