Dining “al fresco” takes on a whole new meaning during the age of the corona virus.
Today in Hollister San Benito street will close, so local restaurants can serve customers at outside tables. Since San Benito county has already progressed through the state’s phase two re-opening… local businesses’ are allowed to have customers inside their establishment instead of serving curbside.
Servers will wear all required p-p-e and temperature checks will be mandatory… while tables will be at least six feet apart.
The mayor of Hollister hopes to close San Benito street each weekend.
