2 Bobcats appear to have been poisoned with a rodenticide this week. The first was found near New Brighton State Beach, and later died, and the 2nd was found on the U.C.S.C. campus and that Bobcat is now being cared for at Native Animal Rescue. Over the last 5 years close to 100 sick and dying Bobcats have been poisoned by the rat poison.
