The western monarch mystery challenge wants you!

With another year of low numbers of monarch butterflies showing up in pacific grove, experts  are concerned.

Monarch watchers are asking for photos from the public in an effort to try and track the beautiful creatures. Between today and earth day on April 22nd, the “western monarch mystery challenge” will award weekly prizes for pics taken of monarchs outside of their over-wintering habitat.

Butterfly trackers want to know where the butterflies are going when they leave their winter habitat.
