Cali Drought 2/14/20 8a Ci

In state news… weeks of sunny, dry weather are beginning to spell the “d” word.

For the first time since last year, the federal government classified certain parts of California in a drought. In total, about 10-percent of the golden state is now in a moderate drought, the news comes with a forecast of no rain for the next 10-days.

The classified dry area includes much of the central valley… about 10-million acres from Tuolumne (two-wal-a-mee) to Kern county.
