In a major policy change, the Monterey city council this week approved the city’s first cannabis-related business. The four-to-one council vote allows Greenbelt Labs to open a testing facility on Upper Ragsdale Drive in Ryann Ranch.
The company says it plans to perform safety testing on marijuana products.
