Grant supports underserved SC Internet users 01-14-20 15:25 DC

Cruz-I-O, the Santa Cruz-based internet service provider, has been awarded a $2.45-million grant construct and provide high-speed fiber-optic internet connections to residents of seven underserved mobile home parks in the Soquel/Capitola area.

The state money will bring up to gigabit upload and download speeds to 263 households that currently lack access to internet service. The basic price for the 40-megabit-per-second service will be $14.95 -per month. No date was been given for when the new service will become available.
