Salinas traffic light cameras are now operational. The Salinas PD is now warning drivers that they will no longer be giving motorists warnings. The new cameras are installed at N. Main Street and Boronda Road, N. Main Street and Laurel Drive, Sanborn Road and Laurel Drive and Davis Road and Laurel Drive. Police say that in addition to red light violations, they will also be mailing out citations to drivers who fail to come to a complete stop before turning right.
