A new company will takeover providing childcare in the Kindercare facility at the Presidio Of Monterey. Kindercare had announced that it would stop providing childcare, and shut down that facility, December 14th, so the city of Monterey opened up the opportunity to bid for providing that service and 3 companies did. Continuing Development won the bid, and they plan to offer pre-school services as well as infant and child-care. Because the facility needs some work done on it, and Morgan Hill-based Continuing Development Incorporated needs to procure its state license for that site, the facility is expected to be closed for a few weeks across the holidays (as the work is completed).
