The case against James Kohut’s co-defendants is expected to continue. Rashel Brandon has been charged with multiple counts of felony sexual assault and the abuse of a minor; while Emily Stephens is charged with multiple counts of the sex abuse of her own child (who was fathered by Kohut). Brandon and Stephens are due back in a Santa Cruz County Court room tomorrow. All 3 defendants were seen in video evidence engaging in sex acts with a 3 year-old boy, a 5 year-old girl, and a 10 year-old boy.
