PG&E inspectors still need to visually inspect thousands of miles of power lines for any sign of damage. The inspections take place during daylight hours, and PG&E says in most cases power can be safely restored in 24 to 48 hours….although it could take up to 5 days in some areas….and even more days if repairs are needed.`
