Last night, members of the Board Of Trustees for the Salinas Union High School District approved a resolution to end the district’s contract with Live PD. On the show, camera crews ride-along with patrol units on Fridays and Saturdays, as Salinas police officers respond to a variety of calls. Trustees said they felt that the show contributes to a negative representation of the city….by turning real-life situations into entertainment….and also portraying the Salinas community as “criminally inclined”.
