A 2nd large drug bust was made in Santa Cruz this week. Robert Truhitte and Karen Laubenthal were arrested after a probation search of their motel room turned up more than a pound-and-a-half of methamphetamine, as well as Heroin, Psilocybin mushrooms, a loaded handgun, and $14,000 dollars in cash. Both Truhitte and Laubenthal were booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.
