The Community Foundation For Monterey County has awarded 18.7 million dollars in grants. The money was parceled out to nearly 750 area non-profits. The money will be used to help improve literacy, feed the hungry, provide shelter for the homeless, protect the environment, and inspire young artists and musicians….among many other efforts to strengthen the members of the community.
