A Santa Cruz County Grand Jury report is reporting problems with the handling of patron’s information in the county’s library system. The report, released on Monday, found Santa Cruz Public Libraries (SCPL) patrons’ privacy could be at risk. The Grand Jury found that the library needs to inform library-users of how their personal data is being used and obtain consent to use of their personal data.
