What is the first thing that comes to you when you think about Memorial Day Weekend? Probably not skiing, but that’s what you could be doing this weekend, according to ski and surf reported Rocky Snyder of Rocky’s Fitness Center here in Santa Cruz. Rocky says Sierra ski areas have received considerable snow from this week’s storms and at least one has reopened thanks to the recent snowfall.
Speaking earlier on Good Morning Monterey Bay, Snider said local surf conditions could also make for an interesting holiday weekend coming up.
