A Watsonville man was taken into custody after he was pulled over while riding a horse. Authorities say that a Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputy suspected a horse back rider on East Lake Avenue was intoxicated and stopped the man to evaluate him. The rider was then arrested for being drunk in public. The horse was released to a family member.
