The 2 people injured in Saturday’s single-engine plane crash, on the dirt airstrip at Monterey Bay Academy, have been identified. The pilot was 53 year-old Aptos resident (2nd generation Olympian, and former Alpine Ski Racer on the World Cup Circuit) Eva Twardokens, and her passenger was Aaron Becker. Twardokens is said to have suffered a head injury, while Becker suffered several broken bones. Both were listed in “serious” condition Saturday after they were transported to Natividad Medical Center.
